Pavilion Volunteers Needed

As you may be aware we are going to take over the running of the pavilion from the Local Authority on a lease and we are hopeful that this will take place in the next couple of months. Planning ahead therefore, we are looking for people to take over the management, initially on a volunteer basis, of the existing building and the refurbished and extended building in the future and, if you are interested, please let us know.

One key post will be that of the secretary of the group and this role will involve taking bookings, sending out invoices to users, including the Nursery group and the rugby club, and the paying of bills for water, gas, electricity etc. It may be that the role will be carried out by more than one person, so if you are interested in taking it on please let one of the committee know. We will also need to market the facility for classes, courses and events such as children's parties etc. We are hoping that a lot of the use will come from the club membership, as the more revenue we are able to create the more money we can put back into the rugby.

We have done a lot of work in contacting potential service users already, however we need to let the members, and more potential users know about the facility and so this is another important role that needs to be filled, again if you are interested in getting involved let us know.
