Bryncethin U14's last game was in early December so it was excellent to finally get to play a game, we traveled down the road to play Cricc, a team who we have never beaten. It didn't take long before we got into our stride and credit to the team they play intelligent rugby, keeping the ball tight until there were gaps and using the pace or Greg and Ben to cause the damage. credit to Cricc they never gave up and only some excellent defending kept them from scoring. It was a huge effort today considering that we haven't had any match time for 6 weeks but the effort the boys put in in training has paid off. trys were scored from Liam Tom P, Greg, Ben, and Blake getting his 1st try for the team. Good job from the nutters club, it was good to see so many polished nails out there. The one thing we have asked from the team is to make it a difficult job for the coaches to pick Man of the match and today it was one of the hardest decision, there was many names mentioned but ultimately the award of MOTM went to Greg, he has been outstanding in training, showing that he has blistering pace as well as a strong defense and to day carried that form into he game, well deserved. As always outstanding support from the parents.
